Robert Gaylord Muny

Robert Gaylord Muny, 83, of Ambridge, died Monday February 9, 2026, Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born January 10, 1943, Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mildred Dunham Muny. He was a retired teacher of the Ambridge Area School District, member of St. Luke The Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. He was a graduate of Geneva College and took extended courses at Penn State Beaver. He won Who’s Who Among American Teachers on three different occasions. He was an avid reader, golfer and bowler and was a US Army Vietnam veteran and also covered High School sports for various newspapers. Surviving is his wife, Anna Maria Antonini Muny and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday February 11, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Thursday February 12, 2026 at 10:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
